ABOUT US

Welcome To Martlands

Based in Burscough, Lancashire, a few miles to the north of Ormskirk, Martlands is a family owned business which has been trading for over 100 years. The business was started around the turn of the 20th century by William Martland who was contracted by the British Military at Lathom Remount for the slaughter of horses not fit enough to go to war. From these origins, we have expanded over the years into the business you can see now.
